Welcome!

This is where you'll find random stuff like a book I've read recently, a movie I've seen, or maybe a picture of my son or dog.

Summer Project

I decided to build a game table for the play room in the basement. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Here are a few pictures of the table at various stages of the process

Here are the oak apron pieces with box joints cut. Tricky to use my jig with pieces that long.

?

The felted table surface will be recessed. I made a 3/4" groove to receive the plywood. There are also grooves for pull out shelves and removable cup holders. This was time consuming and I actually burned through a few router bits removing all that material.

?

I needed to borrow some clamps to have enough for the big glueup of the apron.

?

I made a bunch of pull out shelves for under the table. These were the biggest time sink on the project.

?

Table without the felt on yet.

?

A nice feature of this table is the removable top. Here it is unstained and unfinished.

?

I've got a few more pics of it all finished, but I'll need to upload them.
